The Kyomi Jane is the brand’s most ambitious project to date, refined through over 25 surface tweaks and extensive R&D, including a discarded first batch of 1,500 units that did not meet its performance goals. Built around Kyomi’s new Particle Isolation technology, Jane is one of the fastest—if not the fastest—glass mousepads currently on the market, with exceptionally low initial friction for effortless microadjustments.

Its ultra-textured surface feels noticeably more abrasive than Yuyo and slightly more than Ryo, providing strong tactile feedback to keep movement feeling grounded. The push-down effect sits below Ryo but above Yuyo, adding stopping power under pressure to help you stop on a dime despite the extreme speed. Even so, Jane demands greater mouse control than either predecessor. It is also less sensitive to skate choice, retaining its exceptionally fast glide even with UPE skates. Sharp artwork and a vibrant custom silicone base complete the presentation.

A Surface Built for Extreme Speed

Jane sits at the fastest end of Kyomi's lineup.

Its carefully tuned texture keeps the surface from feeling completely frictionless, giving you tactile feedback beneath your skates while maintaining the effortless movement expected from an Ultra Speed surface.

For players who prefer an extremely fast glide with a bit of extra stopping power when needed, Jane serevs as a top contender.

Particle Isolation

Particle Isolation is Kyomi’s method of controlling how the etching reaction develops across a large production run. Instead of exposing an entire batch to the same etching cycle, Kyomi processes the glass in controlled groups of around 100 surfaces, monitoring the resulting microstructure before continuing with the next group.

By continuously adjusting the etching conditions according to the measured surface profile, they prevent small chemical variations from accumulating throughout the production run. Each stage is checked against our target **Ra, Rq, Rz, Rpk and Rk** profile, allowing the next group to be brought back toward the same surface structure.

3rd Gen Edgeless Design

Jane features Kyomi's 3rd Gen Edgeless treatment for a cleaner transition around the perimeter of the pad.

At 490 × 420mm and 2.3mm total thickness, the XL size provides plenty of usable space while maintaining a low profile on the desk.
